The by-laws of Daryeel Health Services Cooperative Society are the guiding principles that govern our operations and ensure transparency and accountability.

  1. Name and Area of Operation: The society shall be called 'Daryeel Health Services Cooperative Society Ltd' and operates primarily in Langata, Nairobi.
  2. Registered Office/Postal Address: Our registered office is located at South C, Leeks Court House No. 18, P.O. Box 26923 - 00504 Nairobi.
  3. Definitions and Interpretations: This section clarifies key terms used in the by-laws to ensure a common understanding among members.
  4. Objects: Our primary objectives include providing health services at minimal costs, promoting cultural and religious amenities, and ensuring continuous education for our members.
  5. Cooperative Principles: We adhere to principles such as voluntary membership, democratic control, economic participation, and concern for the community.
  6. Membership: Membership is open to individuals interested in establishing and maintaining health facilities.
  7. Qualifications for Membership: To qualify, individuals must be at least 18 years old, of good character, and pay the required fees.
  8. Application for Membership: Prospective members must complete an application form detailing their information.
  9. Admission into Membership: Admission is subject to committee approval and payment of fees.

How to Join

  1. Complete the membership application form
  2. Pay the entrance fee of Kshs. 1,000 and at least one share of Kshs. 1,000
  3. Submit your application to the management committee for approval
  4. Upon approval, sign the membership register and receive your membership number

Membership Fees

To maintain your membership, you are required to make a monthly contribution of at least Kshs. 1,000. This contribution supports the society's operations and the services provided to all members.
